Jr. NTR slams morphed ‘Chuttamalle’ video featuring Janhvi Kapoor, vows to take legal action

Telugu superstar Jr. NTR is taking legal action after a morphed video of him with Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor circulated online, marking a stark escalation in the growing battle against deepfake content in Indian entertainment. The incident, which involved manipulated footage from his hit song "Chuttamalle," underscores how even A-list celebrities remain vulnerable to synthetic media despite increased awareness of the technology's dangers. As courts worldwide grapple with deepfake legislation, this high-profile case could set precedent for how Indian law addresses the intersection of celebrity, consent, and artificial intelligence.
