Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor condemn vulgar AI video of Chuttamalle song, vow legal action

Two major Bollywood actors have launched a legal offensive against deepfake creators after an intimate AI-generated video of them dancing to a popular song circulated online, marking a rare celebrity coordinated response to synthetic media abuse. The incident exposes a gaping hole in India's legal defenses against non-consensual deepfakes, even as the technology grows more convincing and increasingly used to humiliate public figures. The coordinated pushback by Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor signals that Bollywood's A-list may finally be willing to test the courts on an issue that has largely gone unchallenged in the industry.
