LimX Dynamics Launches Full-Size Luna Humanoid Robot (Video)

A Chinese robotics startup has unveiled a full-size humanoid robot that can walk, climb stairs and manipulate objects with surprising dexterity, marking a significant milestone in the race to commercialize humanoid machines that could reshape manufacturing and logistics worldwide. LimX Dynamics's Luna robot arrives as Tesla, Boston Dynamics and other Western competitors face mounting pressure to move beyond prototypes, suggesting the competition for dominance in what could become a trillion-dollar industry is intensifying faster than many expected. The demonstration underscores how quickly China's robotics sector is closing the gap with established players, even as American companies struggle to prove their machines can operate profitably at scale.
